Most of the UAE sits by the Persian Gulf. However, Fujairah is different because its coast is only on the Gulf of Oman. This makes its location very unique. The Hajar mountain range surrounds the land. These mountains help the area get more rain than other parts of the country.

The weather in Fujairah is mostly warm throughout the year. The coolest months are from December to March. During this time, daytime temperatures usually stay around 24 degrees Celsius. In the summer, it gets much hotter. Temperatures can climb to over 40 degrees Celsius. The rainy season also happens during the winter months. Moist winds blow in from the warm Indian Ocean.
