Dainik Bhaskar is a large Hindi newspaper in India. The name means "the Rising Sun." It uses a sun graphic to show a bright future. Ramesh Chandra Agarwal started the paper in Bhopal in 1958. It grew very fast. In 1996, it moved into the city of Jaipur. To get ready, a team of 700 people did a survey. A survey is a way to study what people want. They visited 200,000 homes to ask about the paper. They even offered a low price to new readers. This helped them become the number one paper in Jaipur.

The paper also grew into other places like Chandigarh and Punjab. It is now in 13 Indian states. It has 65 different editions. These editions use Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati. In 2016, it was the fourth largest newspaper in the world.

Sometimes, the paper has faced hard times. In 2021, tax officials searched many of its offices. The paper said this happened after they shared news about COVID-19. The paper has also had to fix mistakes. A court told them to apologize for a report that was not true. They must always work to tell the truth to their readers.
