His show The Big Bang Theory was also a huge success for many years.

Making a show involves many different steps and jobs. Lorre started his career by touring the United States as a songwriter. He even wrote a song called "French Kissin" that became a hit in the UK. Later, he began writing scripts for animated shows. He even helped write the music for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series in 1987. Eventually, he moved into writing for live-action sitcoms. This path led him to work on the show Roseanne. From there, he began creating his own original stories for television.

Lorre was born in Plainview, New York, in 1952. His Hebrew name is Chaim. He went to college at the State University of New York at Potsdam. He stayed there for two years before leaving to follow his dream of music. When he was 26, he changed his last name from Levine to Lorre. Over the years, he has worked with many big companies. He signed a long-term deal with Warner Bros. Television in the year 2000. He still works with them today to make new shows.

Lorre has won many important prizes for his talent. He won two Golden Globe Awards for his work on the shows Roseanne and Cybill. In 1999, an actress named Jenna Elfman won a Golden Globe for her role in Dharma & Greg. His show The Big Bang Theory was the highest rated comedy series in the United States. It was so popular that it led to spin-off shows like Young Sheldon. He also won a Golden Globe in 2019 for The Kominsky Method. These awards show how much people value his storytelling.

One thing that makes Lorre's work special is his "vanity cards." These are short messages that appear at the very end of his shows. Most of the time, they feature his personal thoughts or observations about life. Some cards are very funny, while others are more serious. He even collected these notes in a book called What Doesn't Kill Us Makes Us Bitter. Even when shows move to streaming services like Max, he still uses these cards. They allow him to share his own unique voice with his viewers.
