Some water has tiny bubbles.

These bubbles make it fizzy. This happens when a gas is mixed into the water. The gas can come from the ground. It can also be added by people.

Long ago, a man named Joseph Priestley found a way to do this.

He found it by accident. He liked the taste of the fizzy water.

Today, we make it in factories. We use high pressure to push the gas into the water. When you open a bottle, the gas escapes. This makes the bubbles rise.

Fizzy water can be found in cans or bottles. Some people even make it at home. It is a fun drink to enjoy!
