Bonnie Tyler is a famous singer from Wales.

She is known for her unique, husky voice. This raspy sound happened by chance. When she was young, she had an operation on her vocal cords. One day, she screamed in frustration. This changed her voice forever.

She became a big star in the 1970s. Her song "It's a Heartache" was a huge hit. In the 1980s, she tried rock music. She worked with a producer named Jim Steinman. He wrote her most famous song, "Total Eclipse of the Heart."
