A body is what makes a living thing.

It is the physical part of an animal or plant. Plants have parts that grow up and down. The parts that grow down are the roots.

A human body has a head and neck. It also has a torso and arms. We have two legs too.

When a person dies, their body is called a corpse. The dead body of an insect is a carcass. It is fun to learn how bodies work.
