Teams slide down long, curvy tracks. They use gravity to go fast.

Teams have two to four people. They push the sled at the start. Then they jump inside to ride. A pilot steers the sled. A brakeman stops it at the end.

This sport began in Switzerland. People used to race in town streets. Now they use special ice tracks. These tracks have many turns. The sleds can go very fast. It is a great winter sport.
