Using these drugs too much is a problem. Parasites can learn to fight the medicine. This is called resistance. About two billion people deal with parasitic diseases. In the past, many drugs were hard to use. They could also make patients feel sick. Now, new groups work together to make better drugs. They want to help people in poor countries. Scientists are still looking for new ways to help.
