A Moveable Feast is a famous book by Ernest Hemingway.

It tells stories about his life in Paris. He lived there in the 1920s. He was a writer and a journalist.

Hemingway found old notebooks in a hotel basement.

These notebooks were kept in a special trunk. He wrote in them while sitting in cafes. He wrote about the people he met. He wrote about his first wife, Hadley Richardson. He also wrote about famous people like Gertrude Stein.

His fourth wife, Mary Hemingway, helped publish the book. She did this after he died in 1961. The book came out in 1964.

Later, his grandson Seán Hemingway made a new version. This version added more of the author's original words.

The title is a play on words. A moveable feast is a holiday that has no fixed date.

This book is still very popular today. Many movies and plays use it as an idea. In France, the book is a symbol of love for the city. It helps people remember the joy of Paris.
