The group blends many different ideas. They use themes from kung fu movies and comic books. They also use teachings from the streets of New York. In 1993, they released their first album. It is called Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Many people think it is one of the best albums ever.

Members also make music on their own. They released many solo albums between 1994 and 2000. In 1997, they released Wu-Tang Forever. This album was number one on the charts. One of their later albums is very rare. A man bought it for $2 million. This was the most expensive music ever sold.
