Many animals call this place home. You might see a Bengal tiger. There are also many birds, fish, and snakes. The forest is very important for people. The trees act like a wall. They help protect people from big storms and floods.

However, the forest faces many threats. Big storms like Cyclone Sidr have caused damage. Rising sea levels also bring too much salt to the land. This can hurt the trees. People are working to help protect this special place.
