Social experiment

society Maturity 11-13 Next article →

Some people study how we act in groups. They watch how we react to new things. This is called a social experiment.

Researchers often split people into two groups. One group takes action. The other group watches and reacts. This helps them learn a lot.

One man studied people on bikes. He found that cyclists ride faster when they race others. They go slower when they race a clock.

Other tests show how we learn. Some children copied how adults acted with a toy. This shows we learn by watching.

These tests help us understand our world.
