Pascal (unit)

physical science Maturity 11-13 Next article →

We use a special way to measure push. This is called a pascal. It is named after a man named Blaise Pascal.

A pascal measures how much something pushes on a space. It helps us know how much air pushes on us. It also helps us see how loud a sound is.

Scientists use this to study the Earth. They use it to see how the ground moves. It can even help doctors check our bodies.

Some people use big versions of this unit. Others use small versions. This helps them measure very large or very small pushes.

It is a very useful tool for our world.
