Many people use them for prayer.

They are often made of brick or stone. Some very old ones were made of wood. Wooden towers can help during an earthquake.

Most pagodas have an odd number of levels. They might have three or thirteen floors. Some towers are hollow inside.

You can climb stairs inside a hollow pagoda. This lets you see a great view. People like to see the world from the top.

Pagodas are found in many lands across Asia. They are a special part of the view.
