Land law

society Maturity 11-13 Next article →

Rules help us use the land. Some people own the land. Others just use it to farm. Owning land helps families stay safe. It can help people get food. It also gives them a place to live.

In some places, rules are hard for women. Even if the law says it is okay, old ways can stop them. Women may not be able to own land. This makes it hard for them to earn money.

In India, new laws help daughters. They can now get land from their parents. This is a big change for them.

In Uganda, laws also say men and women are equal. But many women still face hard times. They may not know their rights. Some women also find it hard to go to court.

When people own land, life can get better. It helps everyone in the world.
