An industrial park is a specific area of land set aside for industrial development.

This separation helps reduce the environmental and social impact on the people living in the city. To be effective, these parks must have excellent transportation access. They are usually placed near highways and railroads. Ideally, they are located where multiple modes of transport coincide, such as airports and ports.
