Many people call him the strongest man in the world. He won two gold medals at the Olympic Games. He also won four World Weightlifting Championship titles. He broke many world records. In 2004, he lifted 263.5 kg in the clean and jerk. This is a move where a lifter pulls a weight from the floor to their shoulders, then pushes it overhead.

Rezazadeh loves his home country very much. Once, a different country offered him a lot of money. They wanted him to join their team. He said no because he loves the Iranian people. His success brought him great honor. In 2006, a modern indoor arena was built in his hometown. It is called the Rezazadeh Stadium.

He had to stop lifting due to hand injuries. He also had high blood pressure. After he retired, he became a coach for Iran. He later joined the City Council of Tehran. He wants to help the next generation of athletes. He even hopes his son will break his records one day.
