Big clouds of gas float in space.

These clouds are made of hydrogen. They also have helium in them.

These clouds do not glow like stars. We cannot see them with our eyes. We use special tools to find them.

These tools look for radio waves. These waves help us map space.

They show us how galaxies look.

We can see how galaxies move. We see them when they hit each other. This pulls the gas into long strands.

These clouds are all over our galaxy. They are very important to study. Space is full of wonders!
