He spent most of his life teaching at the University of Turin. He was very curious about how math works. Peano helped create new ways to write math using symbols. These symbols help show how groups of things work together. He also created the Peano axioms. These are a set of rules for natural numbers.

He even made a special shape called the Peano curve. This shape is an early example of a fractal. A fractal is a pattern that repeats itself. Peano also loved languages. He made a simple way to talk called Latino sine flexione. This was a version of Latin that was easier to learn. He wanted people from all over the world to talk easily. He worked on a huge project called the Formulario. This was meant to be an encyclopedia of math. It contained 4200 math rules and ideas. He was a very busy man who changed how we see math and words.
