Soldiers use a smart plan to win. They do not attack from the front. Instead, they move to the sides. This is called an envelopment.

One group stays in the front. This group keeps the other side busy. Another group moves to the back. This group attacks from the side.

Sometimes, two groups attack the sides at once. This is a pincer movement. It can trap the other side.

In some cases, troops fly in from above. They land in the back to cut off the enemy.

This plan can be risky. A group might get lost or cut off. But it can help a leader win.
