Many people know him as Dog the Bounty Hunter. A bounty hunter is someone who finds people who skip bail. Bail is money paid to let a person stay out of jail before a trial.

Duane became a star after a big hunt in 2003. He and his team found a man named Andrew Luster in Mexico. This event made him known all over the world. He had his own TV show on A&E for eight years. His wife, Beth, was his business partner. They worked together on a show called Dog and Beth: On the Hunt. His son, Leland, also helped him on his hunts.

Duane had a hard time when he was young. He was once sent to prison for a crime. While in prison, he helped another person. A guard said kind words to him. This helped Duane decide to become a bounty hunter. He has been on many shows since then. One show was called Dog's Most Wanted. People enjoy watching him do his job.
