It is in a land called Turkey. It sits between two big lands called Europe and Asia.

This path connects different seas. It links the Aegean Sea to the Sea of Marmara.

This helps big ships move around the world.

Moving through the water can be hard. The water moves in two ways at once. One part flows one way, and another part flows back. This makes it a tricky place for ships.

Many people live near the water. A city called Çanakkale is on the shore. A large bridge now goes across the path.
