He wanted to make cars that worked well. He also wanted them to be affordable. His cars had new parts like oil filters. They also had special rubber mounts to stop shaking. These parts were called "Floating Power."

The company grew by making many brands. They bought the Dodge Brothers Company in 1928. They also made the Plymouth brand for low prices. Later, they added the Jeep brand. Today, they sell Dodge, Jeep, and Ram trucks.

Chrysler liked to try new things. In 1955, they made a radio using transistors. Transistors are tiny parts that help electronics work.

The company had some hard years. They faced many rules about safety and pollution. They almost ran out of money in the 1970s. The U.S. government gave them loans to help. A leader named Lee Iacocca helped the company make money again. Now, Chrysler is part of a large group called Stellantis. It is still one of the "Big Three" car makers in the U.S.
