A long time ago, a creature lived in Africa. It was called Burnetia.

Its head was shaped like a triangle. The face had many bumps and ridges. These bumps were on the top of its head.

Scientists found its skull in the ground. A man named Robert Broom found it in 1923. The skull was missing its bottom jaw.

This creature is now extinct. That means it does not live anymore. We only know about it from its old bones.

It is fun to learn about old animals. Do you like looking at fossils?
