Two groups of leaders met to fight. One group was led by Ieyasu. The other group was led by Mitsunari.

It was a very foggy morning. The fog made it hard to see. This made the fight very confusing.

Some leaders changed sides during the fight. They stopped helping Mitsunari. Instead, they began to help Ieyasu.

Because of this, Ieyasu won the fight. This was a very important day for Japan.
