Antidote

life science Maturity 5-7 Next article →

Some things can make us sick. This is called poison. An antidote is a special medicine. It fights the bad stuff in our bodies.

Doctors use different ways to help. Some people swallow black powder. This helps clean out the poison. It flushes the bad stuff away.

Other people get a bite or a sting. A tight band can help then. It slows the poison down. It stops it from moving fast.

Some poisons have no medicine at all. This is very sad. We must stay safe and careful. Science helps us find new ways to heal.
