Tarski studied many parts of math. He looked at shapes and numbers. He also studied logic. Logic is a way to study how we think. He wanted to know how we find truth. He asked how we know if a statement is true.

One of his most famous ideas was very strange. He worked with a man named Stefan Banach. They found a way to move pieces of a ball. You could take a ball and cut it into parts. Then, you could put them back to make a bigger ball! This is called the Banach-Tarski paradox.

Tarski was also a great teacher. He helped many students learn math. Some of his students became famous experts too. He wrote many papers and books. His work changed how people think about math and truth. He lived a long life of learning.
