A man named Georg Cantor studied these groups. He found that some infinite groups are bigger than others. He used a special name for these sizes. He used the name aleph. The smallest size is called aleph-zero. It is the size of all counting numbers. There are even bigger sizes after that. These names help us measure the infinite.
