Only their best 4 results count toward the championship.

Junior WRC is a special category for developing talent.

It uses an arrive-and-drive format. This means M-Sport provides Ford Fiesta Rally3 cars for the drivers. To enter, drivers must be under 29 years old. There is no age limit for co-drivers. The series runs over 5 events on the WRC calendar. Only the best 4 results count for points. The final round of the season is worth double points. This championship helps young drivers move toward the top tier.
