Most insect-pollinated plants look similar to help pollinators visit many flowers. However, Catasetum orchids are an exception. The male orchids look different from the female orchids. They use this to manage how bees behave. Male orchids attach pollen to bees very violently. This ensures the bee will seek out a female flower next.
