The crowd was so unhappy with the score that they whistled and shouted at the judges. Even though it was loud, the judges did not change the score. This helped her win a silver medal.
After her time as a competitor, Olga became a teacher. She moved to the United States in 1991 because of concerns about the Chernobyl disaster in Belarus. She lived in New Jersey and Georgia before moving to Arizona. Today, she lives in Scottsdale and works as a head coach. She helps train new gymnasts to find their own talent.
