Nikola Tesla was a great inventor.
Nikola Tesla was a very smart inventor.
Nikola Tesla was a famous inventor and engineer.
Tesla loved to learn about electricity. He studied physics and engineering in Europe. He later moved to the United States in 1884. He worked for the Edison company for a short time. Then, he started his own work.
Tesla had many big dreams. He wanted to send power through the air without wires. He tried to build a large tower for this. He ran out of money before it was done. Tesla died in New York City in 1943. Today, people still think about his great work. One unit of magnetic power is named after him.
Nikola Tesla was a famous engineer and inventor.
Tesla's work focused on making electricity move in new ways. He created an induction motor to turn electricity into motion.

Tesla's journey as an inventor took him across many lands. He studied engineering and physics in Europe during the 1870s. He worked at a telephone company in Budapest, Hungary. Later, he moved to Paris to work for the Continental Edison Company. In 1884, he moved to the United States. He began working at the Edison Machine Works in New York City.
Tesla's life was full of many important dates and places. He graduated from high school in 1873. He later studied at the Technical College in Graz.
We can see Tesla's impact in our world every single day. Most people use the AC electricity system he helped design.
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American engineer, futurist, and inventor who fundamentally changed how the world uses power.
Tesla's most significant technical contribution was the development of the AC induction motor and polyphase AC systems.
Tesla's early life in the Austrian Empire provided the foundation for his brilliant mind. He was born on July 10, 1856, in Smiljan, in what is now Croatia. His mother, Georgina Mandić, was a talented maker of mechanical tools and could memorize long poems. Tesla often credited his eidetic memory—a type of highly detailed photographic memory—to her influence. He began studying physics and engineering in the 1870s. During high school in Karlovac, he became fascinated by his professor's demonstrations of electricity. He was so skilled at mathematics that he could perform integral calculus entirely in his head.
His path to success was not a straight line and included many challenges. After high school, Tesla nearly died from a severe bout of cholera. During his nine-month recovery, his father promised to fund his engineering studies if he survived. Tesla later studied at the Imperial-Royal Technical College in Graz. While he was a "star of first rank" in his early exams, he did not graduate. He later worked in Budapest at a telephone exchange and in Paris at the Continental Edison Company. In 1884, he immigrated to the United States to work at the Edison Machine Works in New York City.
Tesla's time in America involved significant professional friction, particularly with Thomas Edison.
As an independent inventor, Tesla pursued many ambitious and experimental projects. He built one of the first wirelessly controlled vehicles, a small boat.
Tesla's later years were marked by financial difficulty and isolation. After his major projects lost funding, he lived in various New York hotels.
